Confusing Recklessness with Faith

When are we in faith and when are we simply being reckless? We misunderstand God’s purpose when we deny our responsibility to walk within natural cause-and-effect and expect to escape the consequences of doing so. Caution can be a part of faith, and bold (seemingly irrational!) action can also be faith… So how do these things fit together? How do we cultivate right faith?

0:00 - Proverbs 14:16

4:15 - Recklessness is the flesh’s substitute for faith

6:43 - Believing God will back us simply because we are believers

8:02 - Faith is always obedience to God’s will alone

11:35 - Being watchful cultivates right faith

13:50 - Maintaining devotion to God cultivates right faith
